1. Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreements
All One Source Fiduciary Solutions associates are required to sign NDAs.
2. Code of Ethics
One Source Fiduciary Solutions associates follow the Professional Fiduciary Code of Ethics and the National Guardianship Code of Ethics. As part of OFS associates also follow the OFS code of ethics.
3. What is a Fiduciary?
Fiduciary can also be referred to as Trustee, Estate Administrator or Executor, Conservator, Attorney-in-Fact. “A fiduciary is a person or organization that acts on behalf of another person or persons, putting their clients' interest ahead of their own, with a duty to preserve good faith and trust. Being a fiduciary thus requires being bound both legally and ethically to act in the other's best interests.” (Source)
4. What does an Expert Witness do?
An expert witness is someone with specialized skills, knowledge, or experience who testifies in court about what s/he believes has happened in a certain case based on those specialized skills, knowledge, or experience. (Source)
5. What is an Estate?
An estate, in common law, is the net worth of a person at any point in time alive or dead. It is the sum of a person's assets – legal rights, interests, and entitlements to property of any kind – less all liabilities at that time. (Source)

A trust is a legal relationship in which the legal title to property is entrusted to a person or legal entity with a fiduciary duty to hold and use it for another's benefit. (Source)
